2002 Bentley Arnage

Named for one of the most challenging corners on the Le Mans racing circuit, the all-new Arnage was fittingly introduced at the French circuit. It was 70 years ago that a Bentley, powered by a 4.5-liter engine, achieved victory at the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race. This achievement is the reason a 4.5-liter engine was initially available in the Arnage. (The engine is actually a 4.4 liter, but the automaker calls it a 4.5 for nostalgic reasons). The new power plant was developed with BMW and Cosworth, making it the first engine in nearly 60 years that is unique to the Bentley marque.
