2002 Dodge Durango

Dodge has rearranged the Durango line for 2002, offering new models to replace previous packages and decor groups. The 4WD Durango is now available in five models: Sport, SXT, SLT, and SLT Plus, and R/T. The Sport, SXT, SLT, and SLT Plus are equipped with a 4.7L 235-hp V-8 engine, while the R/T is equipped with a 5.9L 245-hp V-8. All models feature a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional standard equipment includes a heavy-duty suspension, aluminum wheels, keyless entry, and rear anti-lock brakes. The SLT, SLT Plus, and R/T models are now equipped with a standard third-row folding seat, bringing the seating capacity to seven.
