Made from 2.3mm chrome steel, the Mapex Powerhoop provides less resistance without adding unnecessary weight that may mute the drum. The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance.
