2002 Mazda Miata

Miata gets an optional in-dash 6-disc CD changer and two midyear Special Edition models for 2002. The SEs join base and LE versions. All have a manual-folding soft top with a heated glass rear window. A removable hardtop is optional. The sole engine is a 142-hp 4 cyl teamed with standard 5-speed or optional automatic transmission. A 6-speed manual is available on the LS and standard on SEs. ABS is optional on LS and SE, unavailable on the base model. Sixteen-inch wheels are standard on LS and SE and optional on base Miatas in place of 15s. Optional on base and LS models are appearance packages with rear mud guards and more-pronounced body-side sills. The two special-edition Miatas build on LS-model equipment and add unique aluminum-finish interior trim. One has Titanium Gray Metallic paint with brown leather upholstery, the other is Blazing Yellow Mica with black leather. Minimize
