In 1997, musical satirist Weird Al Yankovic ventured into the world of children's programming with his appropriately wacky Saturday morning series THE WEIRD AL SHOW. Taking his cue from PEE WEE'S PLAYHOUSE, Weird Al spun surreal comedy, animation, musical sequences, special guest stars, and, of course, his trademark pop-culture parodies into a pleasantly bizarre confection somewhat marred by network-mandated moral lessons.
