Dodges Stratus has a divided parentage: Sedans have a Chrysler-based design shared with the Chrysler Sebring sedan, while Stratus coupes have a Mitsubishi-based design shared with the Chrysler Sebring coupe.Sedans come in SXT and sporty R/T models. A 2.4-liter 4-cyl engine is standard in the SXT. A 2.7-liter V6 is standard in the R/T and optional in the SXT. Both have a 4-speed automatic transmission; the R/Ts includes a manual shift gate.
