1996 Nissan 200SX

The 1996 200SX coupe is available in three models - (Base) 200SX, SE and SE-R. The 200SX is virtually unchanged for 1996. Safety features include front and rear crumple zones, side impact door beams, energy-absorbing steering column and driver and passenger-side air bags. All models are equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, bucket seats, tilt steering wheel, rear window defroster and tinted glass. A 1.6L engine is standard for the base and SE models, while the 2.0L engine remains standard for the SE-R. The 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional on all models.
