1999 Plymouth Prowler

For 1999, the production of the Prowler roadster will resume in Detroit, Michigan. The limited two seat roadsters will begin production with 2,500 units. New on the Prowler is a lighter 3.5L aluminum V6 engine with 39 more horses which increases the HP to 253. New features on the Prowler include a power drivers side express down window, depowered air bags and a key operated passenger air bag deactivation switch. Also new, is the addition of the three exterior paint colors Prowler Yellow, Prowler Black and Prowler Red. This Prowler achieves 30 percent less emissions than its predecessor. The extensive use of aluminum allows the Prowler to achieve a curb weight of only 2850lbs. The tires have low pressure sensors and run-flat capabilities. Minimize
