The transitional bed is designed for toddlers and includes bedrails. Convert the Ellis into a day bed that doubles up as a couch or extra bed to accommodate an occasional overnight guest. The Ellis also serves as a full-bed headboard that uses a full-size mattress, box spring and frame (not included) when your child is older. Crib should be converted to a transitional bed once your child reaches the height of 35" (90cm) or becomes too active and is able to climb out. Minimize
